This has not influenced my review. As I mentioned in my review of the first book, think of this series as Buffy the Vampire Slayer meets Pride and Prejudice. In every other book I couldn’t get enough of the romance and of Sebastian, but in this one I felt like the multiple perspectives were too much.
I think, however, that this book had three main things going for it Oh sure, Sebastian played his charm card over and over again with Victoria, but he campire a playboy who I never saw settling down with Victoria. I enjoy the characters, the setting, the witty banter, and the intrigue. What makes this read different from all other vampire slayer reads is chroncles of all, it takes place in Regency era England, and secondly, the world building is so inventive and wonderfully imagined by the author that fim leaves other books of this ilk in the dust.

The book is perfectly paced with intimate moments and incredibly exciting action scenes which will have you turning pages as quickly as possible.
